Have you noticed that the newest versions of Chrome on macOS show how much memory a tab is using?
i think it's happening with every machine, from cars, laptops, phones. They either work or do not, there's not as much of a middle ground anymore where people are willing to open up the machines to tinker with them and see what makes them tick

Hacker feel is gone from the Mac and window producs,, the only remainnats of that feel is in Linux distros
